Lenas Two Step - SOLD
Lenas Two Step “Lena” has a pedigree worth noticing! Lena was purchased in March of 2022, and arrived at the ranch in late April of 2022.
She’s a daughter of Shiners Lena Doc, a well known performance stallion from Carol Rose’s breeding program (LTE of $92k, and son of Shining Spark). Her dam is a daughter of Lenas Sugarman (by Doc Olena) who was a 2x medalist (USEF), and has earnings in excess of $36k in reining and working cow horse. Lena’s dam is also a maternal sister to Athena Puddy Cat (LTE $282k+).
Lena stands at 14.2 hands, and is broke to ride. She was most likely started in reining training. Even after a few years between rides, she rode off well! She moves off of leg pressure and is light in the mouth. Lena is easy to catch, she stands tied, stands great for the farrier and loads in trailers easily. This mare is just very sweet and easy to work with. We are excited to see what the future holds for this mare, and her foals.
