Mark The Stars “Mimic” is everything we could have hoped for. While she is a solid paint, she is stunning! Her dark golden dappled coat is a striking contrast to her high white socks. She’s very sweet and extremely friendly. Good luck getting out of the pasture without having to pet her! Mimic is the only foal out of our favorite mare. With APHA/PtHA reining stallion Hollywood Reminic as her sire, the stars are the limit for this filly!
Mimic has been lightly started under saddle, with 5 or so rides as a 2 year old. She will begin “real” training in the spring/summer of 2024. We hope to make her a nice little ranch riding mare. Her dam excelled in horsemanship and snaffle bit classes, so we hope to have success with Mimic, too. She has big shoes to fill. Her dam is our “go-to” riding horse for everything. We believe that Mimic will be the same. Mimic ties, bathes, stands great for the farrier, loads and trailers well and is great on the long line. She has been ponied along the highway and on a few trail rides. She is good natured, loves people and eager to please.
