Equine boarding

Our small equine facility is equipped with outdoor security system, cameras and driveway alarm, a 50x60 indoor arena, and an 80x120 outdoor arena with stadium lighting. Newer continuous panel fencing and gates in all pens and arenas, and secure tack and feed rooms. Owners live on site. Horses are fed twice a day. Grain, supplements/mineral blocks and any medications to be provided by horse owner.

Monthly pricing:

30x60 shared dry lot pen with shelter, hay included $275/mo per horse

12x12 stall with turn out, hay and daily stall cleaning $425/mo per horse. Owner must provide bedding. Each stall has stall mats, a barn safe fan for summer, and outlets for heated buckets in the winter. A 24/7 live video feed in each stall is available with our stall camera system!

We accept cash, personal check, Apple Pay or Venmo. Vet and farrier fees are NOT included in boarding cost. 

Rules:

*No dogs allowed on site
*Manure must be picked up from arenas, wash rack, hitching post and driveways. Forks and manure buckets are supplied.
*Horses are to be tied in designated areas only- hitching post is located outside, tie rings and cross ties can be used in the indoor arena or in the barn near the horse stalls.
*Open hours are 8am to 8pm unless prior arrangements have been made
*Rent is due the 1st of the month, and is on a month-to-month basis.
*No riding allowed in the fields between planting and harvesting season. During this time, use the designated cut trail through the ditch (next to paved road) to access the grass trails. 
*No riding permitted in owner’s lawn or around the main residence.
*Parking is allowed on rock surfaces only.

Under Iowa law, a domesticated animal professional is not liable for damages suffered by, and injury to, of the death of a participant resulting from the inherent risks of domesticated animal activities, pursuant to Iowa Code chapter 673.
